eustilly's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working Advice I just had the funniest conversation. Jenn and I are both in like with shy guys and we took the opportunity of each other's company to gripe about the whole waiting game and not wanting to be too pushy. We were in need of some male opinions, and that's when Aaron walked by. We yelled his name in giddy excitement and he jumped. In a high-pitched reply he yelled, "What?!?" We giggled and apologized for startling him, then asked him what a girl should do to get his attention. We then remembered that Aaron was NOT a shy guy, and having been married for several years, is now a completely tapped resource and not very helpful. He did add a few more serious suggestions, "Hell, just ask him out!" I mentioned that he not-too-recently broke up with his fiancee. However, his best idea was came about when I mentioned that my crush works at an art store. It continued on like this for about 10 minutes. Finally, Daniel, the shy guy of the office, came strolling by and we jumped at the chance to peck at his brain. "DANIEL!!!" Daniel did have the solution. Instead of asking him out myself, he suggested I ask our mutual friends the married couple to help out and inform him that my Columbus Day barbecue will be THE place to be that weekend and that they are definitely going and that he should to. Good plan, I should say. 4:44 PM - 10.02.02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
